HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

In 4 Training offers the CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) course to industry and the general public. This course adopts the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide resuscitation assistance to a non-breathing casualty until qualified help arrives.

Those required by industry to act as First Aid Officers. Security officers should maintain their CPR in order to keep your First Aid certification current for licencing requirements.

Those that are likely to come across accidents/incidents; who wish to maintain their CPR skills.

People who participate in voluntary groups and community activities.

New to be parents who are concerned about what to do for your child.

Almost every work place requires their team members to be first aid qualified and maintain their CPR certification.

It is recommended that you hold a current certification in Provide First Aid HLTAID011. It is a requirement of this course that you are physically capable of performing uninterrupted CPR for at least 2 minutes on a manikin on the floor.

  • Provide First Aid certification is valid for 3 years.
